Cavers guest blog post on Ancestry.co.uk website

I have a guest blog post today on the Ancestry.co.uk blog. It’s part of a series of blogs from members of the Guild of One-Name Studies. Each one details the origins of the surname they are researching, as well as giving a bit more information about the study.

To read it see here.

  1. I have a fair bit of detail on some of the cavers/blackburn descendants. Some birthdates-deaths, children, and wives maiden names. My interest was mainly in the offspring of James & Euphemia who were my ggg grandparents.

    • I’d be very grateful if you got in touch with me directly about this (email viv.dunstan@one-name.org). I can also put you in touch with some cousins, some descended from James & Euphemia, some from James’s uncle Adam in Scotland. I hope to write detailed blog posts about these branches in future.
